Incredible Rally - Let’s Keep the Momentum Going

Next Stop: SCC Public Hearing at Rock Ridge HS, Thursday (9/18) @ 6:30 pm

What an amazing turnout this morning! Thank you to everyone who came to the Loudoun Valley Estates Clubhouse, showed up for our community, and helped spread the word. Your presence sends a powerful message: we are united, we are organized, and we will not be ignored.

We deeply appreciate the support of our speakers and guests:

  • Senator Kannan Srinivasan - Virginia Senate

  • Delegate J.J. Singh - Virginia House of Delegates

  • Anne Donohue - At-Large Member, Loudoun County School Board

  • Arben Istrefi - Sterling District School Board Representative, LCPS

  • Gem Bingol - Piedmont Environmental Council

  • Emily Johnson - Piedmont Environmental Council

  • Bryan Turner - Legal Counsel for Loudoun Valley Estates

Their willingness to stand with us adds weight and visibility to our cause.

And a special shout-out to the Rock Ridge students from The Blaze, Rock Ridge's school newspaper, for covering the story and our rally today.

But we're still only in the beginning - there's a lot more work to do. Here's how we keep the momentum going:

The Three Things You Need to Do:

1. Submit your comments to the SCC today - Every household member can file once. That includes your kids. It's fine to help them write their comments, and their voices matter.
✍️Templates and links can be found here.

2. Attend both SCC Public Hearings at Rock Ridge HS - September 18 & September 29. Arrive by 6:00 PM if you plan to speak. Kids are encouraged to attend, speak, and make comments too.
If you plan to speak, please let us know here: Speaker Sign-Up Form
(We're trying to get a feel for the number of speakers and topics at each hearing, but you don't have to register with us to attend or speak)

3. Spread the word - Tell a friend, tell 5, tell 10. Talk to friends and neighbors - and not just in our HOA. Reach out to friends in other HOAs and nearby communities too.
📢Share the website. Bring people with you.

We Need Everyone

We all know there's a lot going on, particularly on a Saturday - kids sports, activities, family plans.

But if you didn't have a conflict, what's keeping you from getting involved?

  • Don't think it's okay because there are plenty of others participating - we need more.

  • Don't think it isn't likely to make a difference - it already has.

  • There are no guarantees we will succeed, but it's guaranteed we won't if we don't try.

The only way we have a chance is to get maximum participation.
If everyone does a little, we can achieve a lot.
Those three things above? Taking a little time now can make a big difference.

And we need your family, your friends, your acquaintances too - heck, we'll even take the people you don't like!

Together We Win

Thank you again for being part of this fight for our homes, our health, and our future. Together, we've already shown what's possible. Let's keep going.
