1. Written Public Comments to the SCC

NOW through December 9, 2025 at 5 p.m.

Written Comments can be submitted in one of two ways:

  • Through the SCC’s website (see sample comments)

  • Sent by U.S Mail to the Clerk of the State Corporation Commission, c/o Document Control Center, P.O. Box 2118, Richmond, Virginia 23218-2118. All comments must refer to case number PUR-2025-00056.

    Submit your comments to the SCC as soon as possible

2. SCC Public Hearing by Phone

December 15, 2025

The SCC will also hold a public witness hearing by telephone, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Pre-registration is required. The deadline to register is 5:00 p.m., December 9, 2025. Pre-registration may be accomplished in one of two ways:

  • Completing a public witness form for case number PUR-2025-00056 on the SCC’s website.

  • Calling the SCC at 804-371-9141 during normal business hours (8:15 a.m.-5:00 p.m.) and providing your name and the phone number you wish the commission to call to reach you during the hearing.

Note:
If you completed a public witness form at the public hearing but did not get to speak, you will need to follow the pre-registration steps above to participate by phone.

If you spoke at one of the public hearings in September, you are not eligible to provide public witness by phone.

3. SCC Hearing Webcast

December 15, 2025 10 a.m.

The SCC Hearing in Richmond will be available for audio webcast. Below is the information to access the stream for the Golden to Mars Case #: PUR-2025-00056.

As a courtesy to residents of the Commonwealth of Virginia who might not otherwise be able to participate in SCC proceedings, the Commission broadcasts certain hearings from its Richmond courtrooms via the Internet.

Computers must be equipped with a sound card, an Internet connection and a web browser. We recommend using Edge, Chrome or Firefox as the browser for SCC audio streams.
NOTE: A link to the STREAM of a particular hearing or meeting appears and becomes active approximately 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time. (Music is played during breaks and recesses.)
